Our work with the East Bay Vintners Alliance, a group of 20 urban winemakers, reflects our passion for emerging businesses in the East Bay – and great wine! From media coverage to special events and promotions, our team has brought increased visibility and visitor traffic to these pioneering urban vintners. Last year we launched Theatre Bay Area’s Awards program celebrating the achievements of theatre-makers across the Bay Area. This meant we got to don ball gowns for the gala “Oscars” of theatre event at the ACT’s iconic Geary Theater.
We’ve promoted events for Guide Dogs for the Blind, the First Annual Film Festival on Aging, and a remarkable exhibit at the Presidio on “Jews in Modern China,” among many successful marketing/PR programs we’ve created to build connections and values for our clients, team and community.
Our “main” office is located in Oakland—a short BART ride from San Francisco. Our Oakland HQ has many advantages, ranging from free parking to a dog-friendly space above a local vet’s office. We haven’t invested in SF office space because we prefer to invest in our people. And, in case you haven’t heard, Oakland is a newly trendy, hot urban destination. We have a diversity of people, places and ready access to the entire Bay Area from Silicon Valley to Marin. More than 200 new restaurants opened in Oakland in the last year, Art Murmur draws thousands on Fridays, and Lake Merritt Picnic Sundays are fast becoming the place to be. Couple that with miles of hiking and bike trails, Pacific coastline and lower rents, and Oakland is a pretty fabulous place to work and live.
Of course, we work virtually with colleagues from New York to Mumbai. Because so much of our work is virtual, you may never see our HQ aside from these photos of Oakland rising!
