Mackenzie is an Assistant Account Executive at Harden Communications Partners and specializes in providing client account support in media relations, communication and social media strategies. Joining the Harden team in 2015, Mackenzie works on accounts in the insurance, tech and finance industries and enjoys building relationships with local and national media. She loves that each client challenges her creativity to strategically solve their problems and that no one day at Harden is ever the same.
Mackenzie attended California State University, Northridge where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism with an emphasis in Public Relations in 2015. She served as the Vice President of Public Relations for Delta Delta Delta sorority, where she maintained the chapter’s social media accounts, fostered community relations and helped organize philanthropy and other events.
Mackenzie was raised in the Bay Area, living on 170 acres in the Montezuma Hills, and grew up with tigers, lions and other animals in her backyard, sparking her passion for wildlife conservation. From grade school through college she volunteered with Wildlife Companions, a nonprofit exotic animal rescue, there she worked with a variety of exotic animals and reptiles, and helped educate the public about endangered species.
When not at work, Mackenzie enjoys hiking with her dogs, attending pilates classes and wine tasting. She also likes to take regular trips to Los Angeles and vacations in Hawaii each year with her family.
